The study’s goal is to improve the way we engage individuals with Down syndrome in conversations about healthcare and empower them in medical decision-making.
Who can participate in this study?
Individuals with Down syndrome aged 14 and up, and their parents/caregivers
Who cannot participate in this study?
Individuals with Down syndrome younger than 14 years old
Where does this study take place?
The study will be conducted at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or virtually.
What activities are involved in this study?
Interviews
What is the expected time commitment of this study?
2-hour time commitment to complete interviews (either done in person or virtually)
What languages does this study support?
English and Spanish
