
Summary
The Human Trisome Project is a large study of the population with Down syndrome involving the collection of clinical data and biological samples, which are then provided to qualified and approved researchers to answer specific research questions about Down syndrome.
Who can participate in this study?
Anyone with or without Down syndrome aged six months to 89 years old.
Who cannot participate in this study?
Prisoners and Wards of the State.
Where does this study take place?
The main site is located at The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. You can also participate at conferences attended by the Human Trisome Project team.
What activities are involved in this study?
The study involves a successful blood draw, a mouth swab, and allowing researchers to access your health information. You can also participate in additional procedures, such as the collection of urine or stool samples.
What is the expected time commitment of this study?
Less than one hour.
