Healthy Aging and Neurodevelopment in Down Syndrome (HANDS)

This study investigates brain changes related to development in children and adults with Down syndrome. 

Who can participate in this study?

Individuals with Down syndrome ages 8-65

Who cannot participate in this study?

Individuals diagnosed with dementia

What activities are involved in this study?

  • Cognitive and behavioral assessments structured as games
  • Study Partner (family member or caregiver) interviews
  • MRI scans of the brain
  • Blood sample collection by a trained phlebotomist

4-8 hours
